VOSKER was created in 2018 when three entrepreneurs saw the need for a more autonomous remote monitoring device that did not rely on electric power or Wi-Fi and could withstand even harsh weather conditions- essentially a camera that could be trusted in any situation and location.

To solve this problem, Danny Angers, Jimmy Angers, and Yan Gagnon came together to build the VOSKER security cameras that were solar-powered, cellular-connected, and durable. They merged their individual companies to establish the VOSKER corporation in Victoriaville, Quebec, with the first camera selling just six months later in January 2019.

The steady growth continued as VOSKER went on to be recognized in the first year itself when the V200 camera was named Best New Product at the International Security Conference & Exposition 2019.

The following year, in 2020 the company received $35M in funding from BDC Capital, Investissement Québec, and Scotiabank. That year was also the first time the yearly consolidated revenue exceeded $50M.

In 2021, VOSKER received a total of $160 Million in funding, crossing $100 Million in revenue. And apart from being featured in the Globe & Mail Business Growth List and winning the Enterprise Fast 15 award, what VOSKER achieved what was unimaginable for many- a 582% growth in just 3 years between 2018 and 2021.

While the recognition is amazing, we take more pride in the fact that we have made an impact on millions of lives, providing them with more control, more security, and most importantly- peace of mind.

All because we dare to constantly push the boundaries and redefine what is possible.
